the weekend in review
Positives:
-this is really an incredible city
-i caught up with some of my favorite people from home and was sooo happy to hear their voices :)
-fantastic first date, complete with people watching, cab-snuggling, and sharing doughnuts at midnight in the rain
-moments of great weather
-GREAT new memories with new roommates and friends
-conquered a fear
-i felt pretty productive

so, given that it’s friday and having the day off work felt like reason to celebrate, i started the day (i’d say morning, but i’m not sure it still qualified as morning by the time i rolled out of bed) like this:

Tonight
will be an interesting first… on several fronts. when in doubt, kick the evening off with a spot on the guest list for a fashion event in dc and an open bar!
hell. yes.
slightly oversized j crew sweater from the men’s department. chicken noodle soup — the kind with the big, fat egg noodles. clean, freshly decorated room. ‘Frank Sinatra’ pandora station. a short walk around dc and possibly some gelatto in the very near future. well done, tuesday night.
